Biography
Ada Choi Siu Fun is a film and television actress from Hong Kong. She was born in 1973, was the second runner-up for Miss Hong Kong in 1991, and did her first professional television work the following year. Since then she's appeared in about ten films and also worked in television steadily, winning many TVB Anniversary Awards, including one Best Actress award. Among her popular roles is Tong Chi Lai in the medical drama Healing Hands in 1998 then again in the 2001 sequel. Along with the awards she also found a husband in the realm of show business: in January 2008 she married sometime television co-star Max Zhang Jin after a lengthy secret engagement. Notable among the many celebrity attendees was Choi's mother, whom Choi had once publicly divorced due to her enormous gambling debts. Happily, Choi's new found religious faith allowed her to forgive her mother and mend their relationship for the occasion of her wedding.
