I consider this to be a very good anime that everyone should have a look at. Yea the book is better than the movie. One of Yu Watase's original.Part 2 of the book sucks though. The other Fushigi Yugis aren't as good as the first.

Enchanting and alluring in its own special way, Fushigi Yugi will never fail to entertain and delight.. Look out for quirky characters like Tasuki and Chichiri.. There's definitely no shortage of humour here..
