Biography
Barbie Hsu (徐熙媛) is a Taiwanese singer and actress. Together with her sister Dee Hsu (徐熙娣) Barbie Hsu used to form a singing duo SOS (Sisters of Shu), also known as ASOS. ASOS has released a number if albums, the last one being "Abnormal Girls" (1999). The acting carrier of Barbie Hsu took lift with her participation in the Taiwanese drama "Meteor Garden" (流星花園, 2001). "Meteor Garden" is a live version of the Japanese manga "Hana Yori Dango" and focuses on love and life a plain and poor teenage girl called Shan Cai (Barbie Hsu) who goes to a university for rich people, forced upon her by her parents. Popularity of the series in Asia resulted in two sequels "Meteor rain" and "Meteor garden II" (2002). Since then Barbie Hsu has appeared in numerous TV series, including "Monkey King" (2003), "Mars" (2004) and "Corner with Love" (2007), and a number of films, such as a horror movie "Silk" (2006), action thriller "Connected" (2008) and action comedy "On His Majesty's Secret Service" (2009). Barbie Hsu is also well known for endorsing numerous products such as cosmetics, drinks, shoes, etc.
