Biography
Bernice Liu was born in British Columbia on January 6 1979. She is a Chinese-Canadian model, singer, and actress. In an effort to become bilingual in English and Cantonese she entered and won Miss Chinese Vancouver in 2000 and Miss Chinese International which made her famous In Hong Kong. After winning the pageant in 2000, she was offered a contract in Hong Kong which the accepted. Since then she has starred in several TVB television dramas. She also has won many awards for her work in acting and singing. Her best known role was in the TVB sitcom "Virtues of Harmony" where she played Princess Sam-Tin. Since she wasn't fluent in Cantonese critics gave mixed reviews. Despite this she became quite popular among fans. Around this time she started a singing career lending her voice to a few T.V. Themes. in addition she has also starred in four films. In 2006 she was one of the top earning TVB Artists that year.
