Introduction:
Miracle Healer is a 48 episodes series that involve the conflict of the Liu and the Li's family. Practically, this story is based on China history. I think that it was set up after the death of the first Han emperor, Liu Bang. The empress dowager then begins to take over, manipulating the young king. And Miracle Healer is basically a fiction based on a miracle medicine that the empress want so bad.

Cast/Characters:

1) Liu Xuan-Zhao Wen Cuo
Zhao Wen Cuo starred in Miracle Healer as Liu Xuan, Empress Dowager's general. When he first appears on-screen, Liu Xuan was portrayed as a ruthless general that kill his own relatives. But as the plot goes on, he was revealed as a spy who was plotting to murder the Empress Dowager. As the story stretch further, Liu Xuan was stuck between three women who love him. First was Qin Ze, the Empress's niece. Second was Thi Ying, the daughter of a very famous doctor named Chuen Yi. Third and last is Muo Niang, the empress's past rival. Qin Ze was like a sister to Liu Xuan. As to Muo Niang, well, the plot doesn't really explain it now but later. And later on Liu Xuan think Muo Niang is crazy. But it's different for Thi Ying since Liu Xuan really really loves her. And their love grew stronger as the plot become more complicated. I think that Zhao Wen Cuo is great in this series. His acting is great and he had a lot of chemistry with Allysa Chia. He looks as convincing as the ruthless general at first that I was almost tricked. Despite his look at the first few episodes, he was really hiding his nice side deep inside.
2) Chuen Yi Thi Ying-Jia Jing Wen
Jia Jing Wen were starred here as the funny veterinarian, Chuen Yi Thi Ying. Thi Ying is a funny, kind, and a simple girl and therefore everyone felt comfortable around her and Liu Xuan is no exception. Even though Thi Ying always had a conflict with Liu Xuan, she really cares for him a lot. She showed kindness toward him by caring for him when Liu Xuan was sick. Thi Ying were somehow dull that she doesn't realize that Xiang Yun and Thang An like her. Jia Jing Wen is perfect for the role of Thi Ying. She can be so funny and adorable most of the time. On top of all, she had a great chemistry with Zhao Wen Cuo.

3) Qin Ze-Gao Yuan Yuan
Gao Yuan Yuan were the princess in Miracle Healer. Qin Ze likes Liu Xuan at the beginning of the series. And she's the reason for a conflict between Liu Xuan and Liu Xiang. Qin Ze is weak at first due to an accident that happened years ago that were caused by Liu Xuan. Later on, Thi Ying discovered that she is faking her sickness. Qin Ze is also a very big obstacle to Thi Ying and Liu Xuan. Everywhere she go, Qin Ze was accompanied by Liu Xuan's little sister, Liu Shan. Qin Ze then realized that Liu Xuan loves Thi Ying and she decided to let go of her love for him. And at the end she end up with Xiang Yun. Gao Yuan Yuan had a good performance in Miracle Healer. She fit the role of the elegant princess perfectly. I dislike her role though. I think that she's very annoying when she is around Liu Xuan. She still wants to marry Liu Xuan even when she knows that he likes Thi Ying instead of her. But at last she finally understands that no one can separate Thi Ying and Liu Xuan so she gives up. And she got a good ending as well, married to Xiang Yun, who only devoted his love to her.

4) Liu Xiang
Liu Xiang is Liu Xuan and Liu Shan's older brother. He loses to Liu Xuan in both martial art and love life. And for that reason, he dislikes Liu Xuan. He always advises Liu Xuan not to work for Empress Li but at last he ended working for her as well. He is also addicted to Qin Ze that he won't mind to ridicule his own brother. Liu Xiang is also tricky and because of that he escapes Liu Xuan. I don't like this actor. He's ugly, disgusting, heartless, and pathetic. And I think that he likes Qin Ze way too much that he changed into a heartless man. He doesn't regret or felt sad when he killed his own sister. And in the end he died in the hand of Qin Ze, the person that he loves the most.

5) Xiang Yun
Xiang Yun is the young leader of the Xiang's. So practically he's Liu Xuan's enemy. But despite of that fact, he still helps Liu Xuan when he's in big trouble. Xiang Yun likes Thi Ying as well since she once rescues him. Unlike his remaining people, Xiang Yun is wise. When he knows that Thi Ying and Liu Xuan are inseparable, he gives up his love. And instead he end up with Qin Ze. This actor is okay. He doesn't talk that much especially when he's around Thi Ying. He is also thoughtful and nice. Like how he rather has himself injured than to have Qin Ze injured instead. I guess that's how he left a very deep impression on Qin Ze.

6)Muo Niang
Muo Niang used to be the palace's maiden that is before the Empress decided that she should die. Luckily, she was saved by Thi Ying's father. And she end up having an immortal life thanks to Jao Jun, Xing Shan's junior. At first, Muo Niang fell for Liu Xuan. But she fell for Li Fu when he was on a mission tricking her for the medicines. Muo Niang is brave and powerful, even more powerful than Liu Xuan. Too bad she died at the end.

7) Li Fu-Liu Heng Zi
Another general that work for the empress. He has the same status like Liu Xuan but always jealous of him. Li Fu is brutal and cold-blooded, and he seems to enjoy torturing the Chuen Yi's family. He pretends to like Muo Niang since he was on a mission to get the medicine for the empress. But Muo Niang found out and he got killed by her.

Memorable scenes /story:

-When Thi Ying and Liu Xuan first met. Liu Xuan was eventually in the area, searching for the medicine. And Thi Ying happens to be there and was captured by the natives. Their first conversation was funny.

-Qin Ze was sick and Liu Xuan happens to invite Thi Ying's father. Watching Qin Ze suffer, Liu Xuan felt sad and step out. Thi Ying was curious and followed Liu Xuan. She found him to be crying and instantly laughs and teases him.

-When the medicine was stolen by Muo Niang, Thi Ying's family was framed and was imprisoned. Everybody was mad at Liu Xuan and Qin Ze suddenly got sick again. Liu Xuan had no other choice but to ask for doctor Chuen Yi's help. Doctor Chuen Yi wanted to help but eventually Thi Ying is the one who know how to prepare the medicine. Of course Thi Ying refuses to help so Liu Xuan grab her and carried her away. And Liu Xuan had to take Thi Ying's cat, Mimi, as a hostage before she agreed to help.

-Qin Ze was cured once again by Thi Ying, and she promises to help her family. And suddenly a ball flew in. Thi Ying was pissed and kicks the ball back hardly. It hit the young emperor and he begins to bleed. Thi Ying become scared and pretends to faint.

-Liu Xuan was on a journey to retrieve the medicine. So Thi Ying decided to follow him. Eventually, Liu Xuan found out and chases her away. Thi Ying then claims that she sprains her ankle. Causing Liu Xuan carry her halfway to the mountain. The next morning, when Thi Ying woke-up, she was surprised to see a roasted rabbit. And she went hitting Liu Xuan with a stick. They then burry the rabbit and Thi Ying began to prayed to the rabbit. It is when Liu Xuan found out that Thi Ying was faking her pain along. Not long after, Thi Ying really sprains her ankle and Liu Xuan laughs at her, he also left a small dagger for her protection.

-Liu Xuan was captured by Muo Niang and it took a long time for him to escapes. Liu Xuan, who was badly injured, crawled to see Thi Ying. Thi Ying then nurses him and the next day Liu Xuan woke up and went to hug her.

-When Thi Ying nurses Liu Xuan, who kept on hallucinating things.

-All scenes where Thi Ying & Liu Xuan were onscreen together.

Comments:
I think that Miracle Healer is a good series. The casts for this series is great especially Vincent and Alyssa, who have sooo much chemistry. And the plot is good as well so I recommend anyone who likes cute/funny romance & Wu Xia to watch this series.
