The Four Detective Guards

Brief Plot :
This detective series talks about four famous agents during ancient times. With a little help from the sweet Fu Rong, cases are solved throughout the serial. The main character, Tie Shou, is amongst the 4 agents who had captured all the beauties' hearts, but only loved Yi Ren and Fu Rong.

Opinions on the Cast
Cha In Pyo: His performance was pretty good, but I favoured Wallace a little more. In Pyo had romances with both beauties, Rebecca and Li Xiang. It was pretty fun watching him and his gestures at times.

Wallace Chung: Wallace's performance in here was great. He fitted the role so well! I've seen him in one series before and couldn't even recognize him in this. He and Rebecca had total chemistry together! They were sweet and funny. I just didn't get why they weren't together (that's very sad). Anyway, Wallace was the amusing one in the series with Rebecca.

Rebecca Wang: I never thought she could act funny so well, but she did it. Although sometimes she overreacted, most of the times she was great! It's very funny watching her and Wallace. Every time they're together it was great! I've seen her performance from many series before and she's always done well.

Li Xiang: As the poison girl in the series, I tended to hate her character. Her performance was of course great, but her character didn't get my sympathy. She was more of a sweet and lonely girl in the story, getting In Pyo's love. Overall she is beautiful, but should have never taken the role.

Shui Ling: Shui Ling had a guest role in here and didn't appear much. She loved In Pyo, but was rejected. Wallace loved her in here, but was rejected so many times by her. When she left, I actually felt happy because I disliked her role so much.

My Opinion of the Series
At first I was pretty sure that Tie Shou liked Fu Rong because of his actions and questions towards Zhui Meng. Somehow later on, when Fu Rong confessed her love for him, he rejected her and said that he only treated her as a sister. That seemed totally wrong! Fu Rong shouldn't be with Tie Shou. After all, she did so much for him, but all he gave her was heartbreak. Zhui Meng, who was always being there for her, should have gotten some attention from her.

Pairings:
I thought Zhui Meng certainly should have developed feelings for Fu Rong. They were so sweet and funny together, how could they not be together? Tie Shou and Fu Rong were very sweet also. Fu Rong was cute with both guys, but I preferred Zhui Meng.

The Dream:
When Fu Rong was unconscious, Tie Shou dreamed about her waking up. It was sweet! They talked a lot in the dream. One of those things she said was that he had to love her more than Li Xiang and he answered that he did love her more than Li Xiang. That made it all worthwhile!

The Ending
I thought the ending was pretty sweet. The couple was together at last and Zhui Meng was still cute left alone.

My Rating:
I gave this series a 4.5/5 mostly because of the performances of the casts, especially Rebecca and Wallace. The other part is for the storyline and the romances!
