Biography

Gao Yuan Yuan is a Chinese born actor. She was born in Beijing, China on October 5, 1979. She began her acting career in 1996 by appearing in television commercials in China. Gao was able to achieve success despite not receiving any formal degrees in acting or theater. Since her early commercial appearances, Gao Yuan Yuan has gone on to star in dozens of televisions series, movies and theater productions. Some of her television appearances have included The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre (2002) and Miracle Healers (2003). Her movie appearances have included Spicy Love Soup (1997), Spring Subway (2002) and Shanghai Dreams (2005). Additionally, Goa has made theatrical appearances in Beautiful Encounter (2007) and Hamlet (2008). She was able to follow this up by appearing as a torch bearer in Jiangsu province for the torch relay, associated with the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. Gao's youthful and innocent spirit has made her one of China's most popular actors, with a promising career ahead of her.
