Biography

Jeon Ji Hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, has recently starred in "Blood: The Last Vampire." The movie did not do as well as her fans hoped in American and in Asia. The actress's role as a sword-yielding vampire hunter did not make a lasting impression on her existing fans. One interesting trivia about Jeon Ji Hyun is that her original last name is "Wang" which is also a very common name in China. For this reason, Korean tabloids have brought up rumors that the actress is a Chinese-Korean. The spokesperson of Jeon's agency denied the rumors and so has the actress. Jeon Ji Hyun has not confirmed whether or not she would appear in the sequel of "The Blood."

Jeon is most well known for her role in the romantic comedy "My Sassy Girl" that won her a best Actress award in 2001.
