Biography
On August 24, 1981, Jiro Wang Dong Cheng was born to an impovershed family on the island of Taiwan. While attending classes at the Fu Shin Trade and Arts College, a corporation called "BMG" recruited him, and signed him into the entertainment industry for his singing abilities. BMG planned to make a modern "boy band" out of Jiro, along with 2 other boys, but it soon met financial ruin, thanks to the September 11th terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centers. The band idea was scrapped, and Jiro Wang was free to make his own decisions. Making a few "backyard bands", Jiro still had problems dealing with the death of his father, who had passed away while the boy was reaching the age of 18 (1999). Not until he joined "Fahrenheit", a highly commercialized singing group, did he reach a level of fame unsurpassed in his past experiences. One thing remains, though. Jiro has poor health, which continues to torment him both on, and off the stage. Sometimes, his voice comes and goes. Sometimes, his nose can't stop running. And sometimes, a condition that he has won't even allow him to cry or make his own tears.
