Cinderella Man is a South Korean drama television program produced in 2009. The plot concerns a young clothing designer, Oh Dae-san (Kwon Sang-woo), who sees a path to his fortune by working hard at his small shop in the Dongdaemun Market. But when Dae-san encounters his physical double, Lee Joon-hee (also played by Kwon Sang-woo), who happens to be the handsome and arrogant heir to a fashion empire, his fortunes change dramatically. They switch places for a month. Dae-san's natural street smarts serve him well at first, but as he becomes romantically entangled with his rich double's partners, and after his secret double identity is uncovered, things become more complicated.

Storyline Analysis I was eager to see how the directors would pull off the Twin Storyline. I also wanted to see the differences in culture between portrayal of twins in Korea and the US. The story was very interesting, incorporating twists and turns, and there wasn't any times when I wanted to fast forward or skip a part. Though predictable (as all KDramas), it steered away from the clichés. Character Analysis Kwon Sang Woo as Oh Dae San / Lee Joon Hee I really... read more

there's nothing much in this series, so sad cause the fact that Sang Woo was the lead character but the plot of the story was so lame that for the few episodes I got bored to it, the exciting part can only be seen on the last few episodes...
Hummm, don't think I will watch this series from this review. This must be the usual pretty girl from a poor family and has a good heart and rich guy whom she didn't know was rich...Poor Han EJ, always the desperate man chasing woman, usually rich and spoilt.
There's not much to life. It's all about getting that one lucky break! Dae San sells his own clothing designs at a small shop in Dongdaemun Market and all he thinks about is getting rich. One day, he crosses path with Lee Joon Hee and finds that they share an uncanny resemblance to each other. Joon Hee who is also the heir of a fashion empire, asks Dae San if he could pose as him for a month. While secretly posing as Joon Hee, Dae San uses his savvy business skills to outmaneuver Lee Jae Min and also finds true love. But then his cover is blown.

If you don't like 'cringe' movies (you know, the ones where the main character stuffs everything up in front of your eyes), don't watch this drama. Most of the drama is spent building up to the inevitable, annoying climax, and the remainder is spent fixing those mistakes and finishing with a pretty unsatisfactory 'happy' ending. Having said that, if you watch the episodes quickly, you can probably get over the frustration, and enjoy it.
