I just finished watching this drama and although I enjoyed watching it and couldn't wait till the next episode, I did find that there are too many unnecessary dialogues and too many scenes of Kang Xu & Min Jin's family as opposed to Zhang Chu or Xian, who I preferred.

I was particularly annoyed with Xian's close friend - I found her to be over-reacting at times; I also did not understand that house-rules whereby Xian never joined her husband & in-laws during their meals, instead she stood there watching them although they got 2 housemaids who can tend for them. I also did not appreciate Kang Xu's wife who did not have a second thought about leaving her child under her husband's care! Didn't even fight for custody at all! I thought 'what kind of mother is she'?

I admired Cha In Pyo's acting here (he's one of my favorite Korean actors) and truly agree that his role as Zhang Chu is the victim here. I hate Lee Young Ae's character here as she's very selfish, cold-hearted (to her husband who's been so good to her and loves her deeply), stubborn, spoiled and obsessive about Kang Xu!

I think I feel sorry the most for Zhang Chu or Cha In Pyo's role because inspite of his being a loving husband to Xian, his wife never learned to love him in return! Her family and friends favored Zhang Chu very much and who wouldn't want him for a husband who almost had everything - handsome, kind, loving, a successful businessman, wealthy - I truly hate Xian in this drama.

I was hoping to see a happier ending where Zhang Chu & Xian did not end up divorcing, instead Xian learning to love her husband and completely forgetting Kang Xu! I'm sure a lot of women would agree with me that I wouldn't mind having him for a husband!

This Korean drama is worth-watching! I highly recommend it!
