Story
Yoon Jae-hee (Jun Do-yeon) is a diplomat working in Prague,
she is also the daughter of the president of Korea. Choi
Sang-hyun (Kim Joo-hyuk) is a police detective, he goes to
Prague in search for her ex-girlfriend Kim Hye-joo (Yoon Se-
ah). He worked hard just to support her studies but she
suddenly broke up with him. Jae-hee is about to come back to
Korea when she meets Sang-hyun in Prague. He can not speak
French so she helps him when he got himself in trouble. She
promises to help him look for Hye-joo if he agrees to be his
partner in a marathon. Ji Young-woo (Kim Min-joon) is Jae-
hee's ex-boyfriend who works as a prosecutor. They met in
Prague and had a smooth relationship. But he suddenly went
back to Korea and for unknown reasons did not come back for
five years, living her broken hearted. Through some string
of events, the four of them cross each other path in Prague.
Sang-hyun learns that Hye-joo is pregnant, Young-woo wants
Jae-hee's back. Nevertheless, love blossoms between Sang-
hyun and Jae-hee.
Back to Korea. Sang-hyun works on a case in the agency where
Jae-hee and Young-woo work. So the interaction between them
becomes complicated. Jae-hee learns that Young-woo's
disappearance have something to do with her father's
presidency so she is basically caught in the middle. Hye-joo
broke up with Sang-hyun because she wanted to be rich by
getting herself pregnant by Young-woo's evil father. Sang-
hyun finds out that Jae-hee is the president's daughter and
thinks their social status is a problem. He's also worried
about Hye-joo's situation. Well, it's a happy ending with
Sang-hyun and Jae-hee getting married.

crush on Jung Yeon-soo (Kwak Ji-min), a poor girl that Sang-
hyun helped. They study in the same high school but Yeon-soo
doesn't know that he is the president's son. She needs a
part time job and at some point he's following her. They end
up together, Gun-hee is going to university and Yeon-soo is
saving money to go too.
Comments
This drama was shown in 2005, but I first saw it in 2007
through a local television. During that time, I was really
busy being a university student so I didn't really follow on
the story. But I found it amusing, witty and very funny.
Then last 2010, I bought the DVD copy of this with an above
average subtitle. I really love it.
My favorite character is Choi Sang-hyun. He is very funny
and sweet. I was rooting for him all the way. I usually like
the clean-looking guy, but he is more on the other side.
Still, he got me. Maybe, because he is a cop and he has a
golden heart, helping people in need. It can also be his
sweetness. Kim Joo-hyuk is truly an amazing actor, no wonder
he won several awards for this role. He is not the most
gorgeous actor but he has a certain appeal. He's very
natural and he's a different kind of hero. Anyway, I like
him a lot.
Jun Do-yeon as Yoon Jae-hee is also brilliant. She is just a
joy to watch and she is also very natural. It is very funny
how Jae-hee pretends not to follow or not to care about
Sang-hyun and how she always ends up being caught. She is
doing everything she can for him to notice her, stalking
him, waiting for him outside the men's comfort room, eating
lunch twice, visiting him in the police station, etc. She is
very humorous and has a stunning smile. I just didn't like
her fashion and wild hair.
I really didn't care much about Ji Young-woo and Kim Hye-joo
(the exes) nor with Kim Min-joon and Yoon Se-ah (the
actors). They just sucked the energy out of this drama.
Well, l guess we need them for the story to keep going. He
is so clingy, who would think that the girl you left broken
hearted five years ago would still welcome you with open
arms? She is an ambitious bitch who wanted to get rich in a
very unsettling way but got very unlucky. It serves them
right.
On the other hand, I like the kiddos. Yoon Gun-hee and Jung
Yeon-soo look good together. They have this unusual
connection. They meet and he calls her bitch. They meet
again and he takes her home. They go out for a date and they
donate blood. It's nice to watch the younger Jang Geun-suk,
he is adorable. He has gotten so far since that time. And
what the hell happened to Kwak Ji-min?
I have watched several dramas eversince, but this remains my
all-time favorite. I love the OST, especially the opening
song. The script is very witty and funny, laughter ensures.
I just think that it is imposible for the president's
children to have low profiles, like people are not aware of
who are them at all. The story got too draggy in the end
too. I think sixteen episodes are more than enough. Alas,
this is an eigtheen-episode drama.
I think this is better than 'Lovers in Paris,' considering
this is the second installment of the 'Lovers Series.' I
might watch those dramas again to check. I would love to see
Jun Do-yeon and Kim Joo-hyuk together again in another
romantic comedy drama or movie. Hopefully, soon enough
before they are too old and the story to be too awkward to
be funny.
