Synopsis:
Queen Seon Duk is a South Korean historical drama being shown in the 2009 season. The sweeping plotline of this big-budget 62-episode television series follows many characters, but the main thread concerns King Jinpyeong (played by Jo Min Ki) who, looking forward to the end of his reign and with no male heirs, names his daughter Princess Duk Man (Lee Yo Won) to serve as ruler. As the inexperienced girl transforms herself into the Queen Seon Duk of the title, the first Queen of Silla, she faces the many political conflicts of the era of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, while maneuvering against her rival in her own royal court, Mi Shil (Ko Hyun Jung).

Gosh, this is one epic drama! I didn't want to watch it at first because it's too long and I hate historical dramas, but I'm glad I gave it a go since it was showing on cable tv. Mi-shil is EPIC! She's one of the best villains in TV history! :D :D I'm so in love with her! Go Hyeon-jung is definitely worthy of the Daesang!

love this drama! for sure every character in this drama will be remembered, they're so good portraying it especially the lead actors and actress! got so disappointed a little bit in the last episode bcoz of bidam, but well that's the story goes.. its entirety are worth to watch!! super highly recommended!

queen seon deok???? hmmmmmm... it was sooooooooooooo addictive!!!! right now it is running on our local channel here in the philippines, i admit it im an addict!!! addict in QSD hehehehe love all the cast especially lee seong hyo aka "Alcheon Rang"

the great historically and dramatically movie...the actors were so goods,so gentles,...they plays the character with profesionally feelings....bravo!
