Swallow the Sun

Synopsis:

Returning to Jeju Island, "Swallow the Sun" is touted as All In 2, following the original drama about risk-takers who are willing to put "all in", as in showhand poker, and gamble with high stakes, including their life to achieve their dreams. Ji Sung plays Kim Jung Woo, the abandoned son of an escaped criminal Il Hwan (Jin Goo) and country girl Mi Yeon (Im Jung Eun). Jung Woo grew up in an orphanage never knowing his identity and engaged in petty crimes with his local gangster buddies. He gets his first opportunity in life when he saves the life of rich and powerful Jang Min Ho (Jun Kwang Ryul) and has to prove himself by following Jang's son, Tae Hyuk (Lee Wan). Tae Hyuk orders him to win the love of Lee Soo Hyun (Sung Yu Ri), who also happens to be Jung Woo's childhood first love. However, Soo Hyun doesn't remember him and Jung Woo departs later when he takes the blame for a crime Tae Hyuk commits.
