Rating: four-point-five

(Note: I watched the Chinese version.)

Plot Rating 3.5/5
The plot was okay, I suppose. I, however, was disappointed in the first half of the movie. The interaction between Stephen and Karen was too slow. It kept on going on without really making a point. On the other hand, it was very funny.
The second half had a lot of action. I just loved it.

Favorite Scenes:
When Stephen was attempting to kill Lam and Mok, but they kept setting fire to his clothes.

After Stephen took the knife out of pigsy, it kept on bleeding.
Pigsy accidentally carried the spider.

When Lam came to the village, and sha said,"Is that a soldier?"
When Stephen traveled back through time the fourth time and instead of crying for his wife, pigsy knocked on the wall and said,"Honey, you and King Bull should see this."

Cast of Characters
Stephen Chow as Monkey King/clan leader (5/5)
He was very hilarious. He demonstrated the funny, ambitious side as well as the lovesick side. Stephen really loved Jing Jing and was willing to do a lot for her.

Kit Ying Lam as the spider (3/5)
I didn't really like this character. All she ever did was create trouble for the couple. She didn't really seem to like the monk or pigsy.

Karen Mok as Pak Jing Jing (4/5)
She did a pretty good job. I would have liked it if she showed more emotion toward Stephen.

Conclusion
This is an overall good movie, with funny scenes. I recommend it for people who like comedies.
