I Not Stupid's focuses on the families of three scholars in the EM3 public school stream, Terry Khoo, Liu Kok Pin and Ang Boon Hock. Terry, pampered and from a wealthy family, is a meek and obedient young man, with a domineering mother and a negligent businessman father. Kok Pin is strongly pushed to excel at school by his mother, but he displays a knack for art, not academics — much to the consternation of his family. Boon Hock and his mother labor to make finishes rendezvous with an missing dad by running a little wonton noodle stall; to make up for the need of a dad number, he locations high worth on commitment and "manliness" in his friends. As the end of the year comes to a close, Boon Hock excels in the PSLE numbers written check, while the other young men organise to scrape by — Kok Pin only marginally. Contrary to Kok Pin's doubts, his mother is persuaded because he has endeavoured his best. Mandarin title : Xiaohai Bu Ben Meaning of Title Whilst "I Not Stupid" is certainly not great English, the Chinese title actually means "Kids Are Not Stupid" which is basically the whole theme of the movie. Awesome movie. Too bad the white guys in it can't act for $%^#. Where did they find those guys? Did they just pick them off the street?

i totally loved this movie. it was so funny especially the "ling beh" guy. i found this movie more interesting than many HK movies cos of the humour. (no offense to HK ppl or movie fans though).

I never thought I'd watch this movie, but my friends insisted that I did.. and I found this movie great! The english is bad, but I kinda thought it was funny that way.. It was touching and funny at the same time.. I give it 4.5/5 (what Funn Lim said about the weaknesses)
