I was curious about this movie before it came out in the US; however, when I got to see it, it was okay...! I didn't like how Tang Wei willingly decided to give up her virginity for an uncertain plan that easily. It was just stupid. There were lots of unnecessary scenes for this movie to drag over 2 1/2 hours. In addition, the sex scenes didn't have to be that graphic, lengthy, and occur 4, 5 times altogether between Tang Wei, Leung Chiu Wai, and Liang Run Sheng (the guy she lost her virgin to). I mean...we didn't have to see how they did them (making love) many times, what positions, or how they took contol of each other in bed? With that said, the acting was good among actors/actresses.
