Produced by Tsui Hark, directed and written by John Woo, and starring Chow Yun Fat in his prime time, the movie is simply a joy to watch. John Woo, obviously influenced by martial arts stories, attempted to bring ideas of a pugilistic jiang-hu world into a movie set in the modern period. There is no clear cut line between evil and good in this movie. Men are still torn by duties, honor and love....
