Biography

Niki Chow Lai Kei is a Hong Kong model, singer and actress who was born on the 30 August 1979 and is currently 30 years of age. She was raised in Hong Kong by her family going to school until she was 17 years old. At this age she was spotted by a modeling agency and given an opportunity to become a model, which she decided to take and left school. Following her leaving school, she spent a number of years modeling until around 2001 when she broke into movies and followed this up by also appearing on television. In her cinema career she has starred in a number of productions including Dummy Mommy Without a Baby in 2001, for which she was awarded Best New Performer and also more recently Heavenly Mission. Her television credits include most improved actress for the 2005 drama The Gentle Crackdown and also a Best Actress nomination for her role in the 2006 TV series Under the Canopy of Love. She is also known for her singing ability and has recorded a number of albums for BMA Entertainment, the latest being ReDefine Second Edition which was released in 2009. She is not the only famous member of her family and is the younger sister of the Hong Kong Model Kathy Chow Man Kai.
