This is a dramatic comedy. If you are an Ada Choi fan, you will definitely enjoy this series. This is also the first time that Chin Ka Lok plays the leading male role.

The Story

The story is about Ada trying to get a man before she turns 28 or else she'll never get married. The leading actress in this series is Ada Choi, the leading actor is Chin Ka Lok, and the supporting actress is Cutie Miu. Ada lives with her younger brother, great aunt and older sister. Due to the fact that Ada is very straight-forward and careless, she loses her job often. She often speaks out her mind offending many people. Florence, Ada's best friend, helps Ada get a job as Chin Ka Lok's secretary. Ada and Chin Ka Lok get off on a bad note. Like the old saying, "Quan Gia Ngap Mat", meaning you hate someone but then you keep seeing that person. Then Ada finds out that Joe, the guy she fell in love with a long time ago, lives above her apartment. Joe doesn't love her but he was too nice to tell Ada so he told Chin Ka Lok and Cheng Keng Kei to hint to Ada that he doesn't love her. But they mess up. I wasn't surprise that they messed up because they are a clumsy pair. Ada was heartbroken after she found out that she had made a fool out of herself when Joe didn't love her. I can't seem to remember what exactly happened near the end. When Ada wakes up in hospital after one day, Cutie Miu tells her that Florence and Chin Ka Lok were getting married. Ada quickly runs out of the hospital but she hugs the wrong guy. Then Chin Ka Lok appears in hospital and they hug. He asks her to marry him and she accepts his proposal. THE END!!

Ada Choi

She did really good as usual. It was awkward to see Ada pairing up with Chin Ka Lok. At first I thought they wouldn't match, but after watching a few tapes I realised that they are cute together.

Chin Ka Lok

I like his character. He's talented and I hope to see him in future series. He did a really good job in this series.

Florence Kwok

I didn't like her character. You would be pissed off at the things she does. Yet, it does prove that she can act.

Miu Sui Wai

She's in Life for Life, Virtues of Harmony, and other series which I can't remember. Her performance was not bad. I think her acting has improved.

Joey Leung

I didn't really like his character. He always listens to his uncle and he's not a good business man. A guy like him should just get lost, he's a good nothing man.

Joe Ma

He played a guy who's intelligent, rich and talented. The relationship between Ada and him was weird.

My Comments

Overall the series was enjoyable. I laughed from the begining to the end. It was so sweet how Chin Ka Lok helped Ada when she was in hospital. They have a lot of chemistry together.

Rent it or not?

I would definitely rent it. When I was watching this series, I couldn't stop laughing. I have always been an Ada fan, because she is a beautiful and talented actress.
