"Armed Reaction" was the new love of MysticDust's life. She rented the whole series and finished it in two days, all 30 episodes. She had to write a review about it, since she could not get it off her mind otherwise. Since there was already a short synopsis of "Armed Reaction," MysticDust will strictly base this composition on her personal opinions.
Story:
"Armed Reaction" was a beautiful work about cops and cases. Even though there was no mystery to whom the criminals were, the story was still magnificent. It contained action, love, and talented veteran characters. The exposition unfolded adequately and the introductions to each characters were delightful. The flow of the story was not too fast or slow. There were no moments during the series when the storyline dragged, unlike other shows. Also differing positively from the other TVB series was the ending of “Armed Reaction.” It did not close abruptly, but flowed into a fulfilling resolution.

Artists:
Esther Kwan: She has always been and will probably always be a terrific actress. Her role in "Armed Reaction" was breathtaking . Her expressions were flawless. Her eyes revealed all. When she was happy, she was adorable, and when she was confused, her eyes reflected her perplexity. Esther's character was ever-changing. She began as a woman who was content with her stable job, loving family, and beautiful life. However, soon she was accused of having an affair with her fat boss and was transferred to patrolling the streets rather than having a cushioned office job. Afterwards, she discovered that her husband had a mistress who carried his baby, and her family fell apart. Her life was in total chaos. Yet, as time progressed, she gathered herself together. She bettered herself physically and mentally, climbed up the executive ladder, and even found a new love. As MysticDust stated earlier, Esther's acting was flawless and very unforgettable.

Joyce Tang: Joyce's characters always seemed to have the same elements. Each role was feminist and self-reliant. In "Armed Reaction," she was the new cop who was the first female police to fire a gun. While her mother was against her being a cop, she still embraced the dangers to fulfill her childhood dreams. She performed risks that were deemed unladylike, yet she knew she had what it took. While Joyce's acting could not justly compare to Esther's, MysticDust could not picture another actress acting as this character. It appeared as if the scriptwriters wrote this role just for her. She was the perfect daring female cop and her performance was moving.

Bobby Au Yeung: Bobby has always been a superlative actor. While his looks could not win him the male version of a beauty pageant, MysticDust had always loved his acting. No matter what roles he played as, he was always wonderful. MysticDust found herself rooting for him throughout this show, hoping he could realize his wish and have a wife and children. In this TVB series, Bobby played Joyce's uncle. He was a gun expert and a cop who had caught a notorious criminal in the past. Unfortunately, his knee was damaged, so he had to work in the section where they did evidence-analysis. Bobby’s gun collection was unbelievable.

Marco Ngai: He was the main reason why MysticDust wanted to watch this series. Marco's acting and looks were captivating. MysticDust just adored him. Marco was a somewhat high-ranking cop in "Armed Reaction." He was smart, handsome, and well-off. A lot of girls went gaga over him, MysticDust being one of them (but she was not part of the series). His performance was cute. When he ate the stinky fruit, MysticDust couldn’t help but giggle. At first he was a sexist guy, then he become more bearable and much more lovable. He was supportive and intelligent.
