Synopsis Review
The main cast has Gallen Lo, Ada Choi, Kenix Kwok, Roger Kwok, Louis Koo, and Lisa Wang. The guest stars are Flora Chan, Nicky Wu, and Maggie Siu. The second half of this series was pretty good to me. The series begins with Kenix dying in Gallen's arms because the prison people shot her. Gallen is left with kenix and sunny's son as he raises him. Three years has passed now and Gallen has decided to come back to the business world. One day as he was driving he saw Kenix! He tried to chase after her but couldn't. So he told himself that it was just a person who looked like her. Meanwhile, Louis and Ada are in Hong Kong now. Louis still thinks Gallen killed his brother Sunny so he is after revenge. He tried everything to make Gallen go down. So he hires that girl that Gallen saw who looked like Kenix to distract Gallen from an important meeting. It turns out that she is Kenix's twin sister! This role is also played by Kenix.
Kenix falls for Gallen soon and is working for Roger at his resturant. Roger now works with Gallen at the business. Roger falls for Ada. She is working as a spy for Louis since she's his girlfriend at Gallen's company. Ada loses her memory and is with Roger. Louis convinces her to marry him after she remembers everything. So she marries him instead of Roger, who she really likes now. Louis is an abusing husband and abuses her. She walks into the ocean and everyone thinks she died. Kenix and Gallen are finally together but then she breaks up with him because she thinks he killed her father. Gallen and Louis get in this final showdown and Louis dies while Gallen is left in a coma. Kenix comes to see him one more time before she leaves for a while to get him out of her system because she forgave him and knows he didn't kill her father now. Ten years later, the Smokeless City is built and flora comes to the grand opening bringing Kenix with her. Gallen and Kenix see each other again and then they hook up again. Roger finds out that Ada is still alive because some people rescued her and they hook up and had 3 kids already. It is a happy ending for everyone.
I think this is a good series even though some people dont think so. It is a little draggy but it's pretty good and has such a great cast. It was sometimes boring but overall good. I think part II is better than part one. I recommend it to everyone and those who haven't seen it should rent it! Kenix's new character and Roger make it funny at times. They fight a lot and it's pretty funny.
