Burning Flame III is the third installment in the "Burning Flame" TV series, but has a different storyline and plot than it's predecessors. The main theme of the show revolves around firefighters' duties and challenges. It also focuses on the family relationship between Chung Yau Sing and his father. The show also follows a love triangle between Chung Yau Sing, his best friend Rex Cheuk Pak-Yu, and Ko Wai-Ying. There are a number of other love stories as well within the storyline. The cast for Burning Flame III includes the following: Kevin Cheung as Rex Cheuk Pak Yu, Wong He as Chung Yau-Sing, Myolie Wu as Ko Wai-Ying.

Kevin Cheng's character is almost too perfect, making it uninteresting to watch. Wong Hei needed to carry the show for the 3rd time but his stubbornness is tedious to watch after a while. Good lesson about how being unable to let go of something can destroy you though. That kind of self-destruction is scary and sad.
BF storyline is probably milked enough now though, we don't need a 4th.
Agree. It's hard to like anyone - everyone seemed a tad too tedious to watch. Kevin's character is too nice, Hei's too obstinate, Myolie's too dilly-dally which ultimately caused all the issues.
Not much character development except of Encore and Nam. Even Yee's (Encore's wife) flatmates seemed more interesting than the main casts.
Could have done well with more editing.
