If you're looking for plot. This is the show for you.
In comedy though? I found some laughs here. It's not the best, but I think it was a alright spin. I think I was looking for the chemistry between Moses and Charmaine more than the show itself...
But I have to admit, although some parts were cheesy (the family spirit?) it was decent.
I really like their costumes o____o so nice!

But Drama of the year? Nahh...
Drama that's funny and you should watch? yesss!

Nothing special here. Plot wasn't that captivating. TVB's attempt at ancient comedy by trying to fuse modern elements such as rap weren't very cute or entertaining at all.

i had high hopes for this because i adore moses and charmaine. however, this drama left a very bitter after-taste in my mouth. i found the kam family very irritating (except susanna kwan). the clapping was really very cheesy and it got onto my nerves. i did not like the use of those cartoon effects. it cheapens the drama. a good comedy should rely on purely on humor to win over the audience, and not resort to such no-taste tactics.

to manytimesover, i, as a moses and charmaine fan, don't even enjoy this show, so i won't recommend people giving this drama a shot if possible. moses and charmaine have performed better in other comedies. their performance in here is mediocre at best, terrible at worst.

Besides the 32 episodes not serving enough justice for such a promising cast thus somewhat making the love storylines seem rushed I would recommend anyone willing to give this drama a shot. Not everyone enjoys this type of comedy, but some do. These reviews seem prejudiced to the fact that the drama is undeserving of the award it got, not for what the drama offers to its audience. Not all people like to watch tragic dramas either. Some actors and actresses in this drama don't usually play the roles that they did nor tried to create such humour before. It is light-hearted and interesting. Watching the first 10 or the first episode does not make the drama stupid or retarded, because the episodes following had the balancing intensity that you missed out on.
