Synopsis:

In the Chamber of Bliss is a period drama series broadcast on TVB in September and October of 2009. The cast of the show includes Damian Lau as Choi Ock (General Chai), Kathy Chow Hoi-Mei as Siu Fung-Sing (Lady Balsam), Kenneth Ma as Yue Yam-Kwok, Toby Leung as Mok Ching-Yee, Dominic Lam as Mok Yik Tin, Crystal Tin as Bak Sze-Ting, and Angela Tong as Siu Lai-Mei. The plot of Chamber of Bliss centers around character Choi Ngok, a military governor who is attempting to overthrow the Yuen Sai Hoi government. As a part of his ruse, he is pretending to be fooling around with a highly sought after courtesan by the name of Cheung Feng Wan. Other suspect the military governor and try to spy on him. The plot centers around this overthrow plan and attempt, and those who are a part of the plan, or who are trying to catch him doing something wrong.
