Michael is Sonija's husband. One night, Michael was driving Alex and Jojo home because he is a taxi driver. Jojo finds out that Alex is cheating on her and gets mad and the two fight. This causes Michael to lose grip of the steering wheel and the car flips, causing Michael to die... At the hospital, Fiona takes Michael's soul away because he is "dead." However, Fiona soon learns that she made a mistake and that she's suppose to get Alex's soul instead. Michael is very mad because Sonija was waiting for him to come home and he has an old mother and a daughter to take care of and many other promises. Fiona helps Michael to get into the body of Alex (who is suppose to have died and not Michael). So, Michael is now Alex. Alex is a playboy and had many girlfriends. He is part of the music entertainment and works as the manager of Matt Yeung. He wants to reunite with his family, but he can't because he isn't Michael anymore, but Alex.
So, he decides to win back his wife through his new face and body. He helps Sonija a lot and she and the family are reminded greatly of Michael from Alex's actions [unaware that he is actually Michael]. Sonija later mistakens Alex for "killing" her husband. They eventually work things out. Moses comes into the story as a dance teacher who gets involved with Sonija. Alex, Sonija, and Moses form a love triangle. Sonija at first tries to stay out of both relationships because she wants to remain faithful to her husband. She soon realizes her deep love for Alex and chooses him... The two are in a sweet and compassionate love when abruptly "Michael" appears. The "Michael" is actually Alex. He came because he wants revenge because he's mad that Michael took his body. He wants to be alive again and plots to force Michael out of his body... Sonija is caught between her old husband and her new love... (I'll leave it at that because I don't want to spoil the great ending!)
I have to admit that at first I wasn't too impressed with the casting when looking at the poster. But, after watching the first tape, I was immediately impressed. Sonija's acting improved greatly in this series. She looked hot and her acting was plausible. Her crying scenes were not bad and I was surprised she shed tears. She's very cute and you care about her character a lot. Alex is great acting in his two roles. He's funny at times and his acting is good! This is my first time seeing Alex in a series, and I really think he's a good actor. Michael was good too as two roles. He was so evil at the end. Which is surprising to me as I am used to seeing him being "good" and "nice" in "Virtues of Harmony." Fiona is so cute and funny. Leilia was very cute and her acting is ok. Moses was his usual good performance. Nothing too spectacular as I wasn't too fond of his character. The rest of the cast was great as well. Everyone did their part in pulling off a great script!
Honestly, I was "forced" into renting this series because I had nothing else to watch. I wasn't expecting to much and I was expecting it to be bad. However, surprisingly, the series left a great impact on me. It was very interesting from the start to the end. Not one second was boring. Everything was interesting and great to watch. There is a mix of comedy and drama and romance. A great combination. The background music was romantic and compelling. The acting was good and Sonija was just too hot. The music was great. The message that the series surveyed was great. It delivered a thoroughly great series in a short amount of episodes. The ending was very impressive as it surveyed so much emotions and wasn't rushed at all. The chemistry between the cast was great too. There were no draggy moments. I was very impressed. The music, the acting, everything just brought out such a great series.
There was nothing bad about this series. I honestly loved it! Every story was great. It was very interesting. And the ending was so exciting. I loved it.
"Love and Again" is an average-budget production, but the product and quality of the series is far above average. The storyline is interesting to watch and the script was well-written. Not only that, but the casting is great as well. You will fall in love with the series from the start to the end. A great series!
Go rent this series now because it's great! I recommend it to everyone! It's a series for the whole family that everyone will like! It's very romantic and interesting! It's short, sweet, and to the point! Bottom line, it's a great series! Nothing bad to say about it!
