One thing I like about this show is how the two main characters (Charmaine Sheh and Joe Ma) carried the show throughout, especially Charmaine, who played five generations. Another thing I like about this show is how it depicts the status of women, marriage and commitment through the ages, from the late 19th century to the early 21st century, how attitudes towards men and women are being viewed through the years. I enjoyed watching this series. Im a big charmaine fan <3 i find some parts pretty boring, 4/5 for this show.

This series wasted my time. I thought it there was nothing special about it plus the acting is really bad here! I don't get how Charmaine got the best actress award when hera acting wasn't very good in the 3rd generation.
It had bad rating as well. I would only watch it if you are a fan of Charmaine.

I loved charmaine in the fourth generation!
her hair was sooo hot !!
and her boots are on fire !!
i recommend u to watch it only for the fourth generation ! because she so hot there !
