This is the sequel to TVB's "The Academy" (2004). This series to me seemed a bit rushed and they made a lot of careless mistakes. I think due to the ratings "The Academy" had they thought this would be a hit, that it would be easy to make and they slacked off. The storyline of this would have been really good but the way they did it all and put it together wasn't the greatest thing. Unlike other TVB series...

Joey Yung acting is horrible and shes been in the industries for so long. With professional make up she still looks ugly.

I like this series. Even though it was mainly about relationships, and not that 'much' action, as many people wished it should. Some parts were quite lame and un-nessary in my opinion but overall i liked it.

But it was sad how sonija (character who played winnie) died at the end, and they didn't get back together when sonija was about to forgive michael (ah-fung) >~<"
I Hate the ending, grr! But if sonija didn't have to die, this series woulda been even better :|

it's not as bad... obviously, some scenes don't make sense. and of course, it was unfortunate that it was plagued by the michael-sonija saga. i especially like the part on their training and the action is good. i really like power chan and chin ka lok, wish they have more screen time instead of focusing on ron-joey or michael-sonija repeated scenes (the always talk about the same thing). i think the worst part is the kate tsui-ron crush (waste of time). it wud have been a brilliant series if they concentrate more on police work than love stories which doesn't make sense.

dont get me wrong. I love hong kong. and hong kong shows are nice and is entertaining, but if you gonna make it unrealistic? then my friend- the directors/producers sucks. it's all common sense that before you get into details such as making your character fall from 50+ foot cliff and wake up in 2 days with no broken ribs, bones, arms, legs ... that is amazing but if that was you in real life, you'll be dead. if they expand the time frame of him being in the hospital longer or if they say 2-3 yrs later, then it's more convincing. but to have him recover in 2 days... that's just ruins the whole series.
