Summary:
This is Patrick Tam's first series upon his return to TVB after being with ATV for quite some time. Patrick plays a rich guy who is well-educated and has a high-paying job working for his father in a loanshark company. One day he is caught for possession of drugs and sentenced to do community service. There he meets Kenix Kwok.

Kenix Kwok plays a social worker. She takes care of children whose domestic problems require them to stay in foster care until the problems are resolved.

As Patrick helps out more and more around the foster home, he begins to see more about other people's lives besides the one that is provided for him. He is now trying to help the children of the home, but problems arise between his helping people, his father and girlfriend Anne Heung.

Cast:
Kenix Kwok - as always, Kenix does well in every role she gets from TVB. However, I'd like to see her in something different the next time around. In this one she was the strong, independent and successful lady who just happens to have a sad past that caused her to not trust many people.

Patrick Tam - I can't remember any series he was in before he left TVB, but I must say he did a good job. Welcome back!

Anne Heung - She plays a pretty mean character in this series and that I think she did a good job. In addition, she was really pretty in this series. Her hair and wardrobe were really sophisticated.

The children - They are so adorable! Each and everyone of them was cute and did a good job! My favourite one is the chubby child who liked standing in the kitchen doorway to see what's cooking.

Comments:
Generally this series was well done, although the ending could go on a little bit more.

This series dealt with a lot children issues and social problems we see in society today. In this series, the topics discussed were: suicidal parents, physical abuse, gambling problems of parents, sick providers, neglected children, and even rape. I thought this was a very good series because it didn't just focus only on love triangles between the main characters, but dealt with the social issues that aren't usually brought up and discussed as often.

Hopefully this series will raise awareness of social issues and promote communication between family members.
