i never expected myself to like this drama as well. michael tao and jessica hsuan exhibited really very good chemistry. it's such a pity they couldn't end up tgt though. :( brilliant performance by bowie lam as the main villain.

kiki sheung's character got a bit too irritating for me though. joyce tang is good at acting innocent and she is really funny!

I never liked 60-70s themed series much but this one is superb! Great plot, great casts, great costumes etc...It's such a waste it didnt get nominated in any category in the recent TVB award. This series should have won the Best Series.

this drama is surprisingly good. good chemistry between michael tao and jessica hsuan! bowie lam did great as a very scheming guy.

this may be a pre-modern drama, but don't let the time-line put you off, if not you're really missing out!

btw, excellent theme song from myolie wu. really helps to bring out the drama theme. :)

Great cast, nice theme song, would've preferred a more dramatic ending. What I liked about this series was how the main characters were written. Everyone plots against each other for their own interest, yet has a limit to how far they will go to pursue these interests.

Bowie - great as the antagonist
Michael - surprisingly enjoyable to watch, one of my fav characters
Joyce - adds a little humour in between all the plotting and scheming
Jessica - very interesting in the earlier episodes

overall, enjoyable series, may not be Heart of Greed or Moonlight Resonance, but its worth a watch with some great actors.
