Summary (Contains Spoilers!):

This series starts off with Kei Hau Yee (Kenix), a rich girl but nonetheless kind-hearted and her admirer Chan Dai Ha (Frankie). Through certain issues, Kei accidentally swallos 10 seeds which causes Kei to become pregnant. The villagers accuse Kei of the bad act and comes to a conclusion that she should be killed. From aside Chan runs out to protect Kei and falsely admits that he is the father of Kei's child. After what seems to be only a few days, Kei gave birth to 10 children, who quickly aged into adults causing both her and Chan to be frightened. After several days of examining the brothers, Chan realized that they are like normal people. They were not bad at all... Now, the only problem is that they were missing 2 brothers...the 2nd and 3rd brothers...

From then on, they moved to another village where they started a new life. Each brother had their unique way of finding out their special abilities. This is also where the First and Third brothers meet two girls, Hong Siu Lan and Yuen Tung Tung...

Comments:
This series is better than I had thought it would be. Trust me, I was debating whether to watch this series or not because of the awkward casting and the extremely odd costumes and plot. But trust me, you would really love this series when watching with your family. It brings the family joy with warm-hearted tales of ten brothers.

Frankie Lam as Chan Dai Ha

His character is loyal, kind-hearted, true and only loves Kei. The only problem with this character is it is truly too good to be an actual person. He gave up his love wanting her to be happy (truly, this is possible). But, he is willing to take care of the kids that literally weren't even his to begin with. Even if they were, it's TEN brothers! Also, he was willing to let her go and take care of the other 9 brothers?

His portrayal of the character is acceptable: not extremely good, but expectable. He should focus a little more expression on his character. Sometime, I could barely see what he was trying to express. But overall, it is not bad.
Rating: 3/5

Kenix Kwok as Kei Hau Yee

Kei is a kind-hearted person. But at the beginning, she seems to also have the attitude of 'I'm rich, I shouldn't be with someone poor' Other than that, she is a very good mother and an absolutely smart person.

Kenix's portrayal of Kei is not splendid either. She was once again only acceptable. Her expression is sometimes too much or way too little. Sometimes I found her expression annoying compared to many of her good series out there. Maybe, she needs a little more work on getting into character. I do understand that it might be funny when you are co-starring with your husband.

10 Brothers

Actually, they portrayed their characters quite well. I do not think I can say too much about some of them because they do not have enough screen time for me to evaluate.
Overall, I do believe most of them have potential.
Rating: 3.5/5

Leila Tong as Hong Siu Lan and Nancy Wu as Yuen Ting Ting

I like the casting for these 2 characters. The characters fit well and the acting from these two is quite good. I do not have much to say about these two characters. I still need more time to evaluate them.
Rating: 4/5

Best Chemistry

Even though I usually like Leila Tong in all her pairings, I believe Chris isn't the best choice for her. As for Kenix and Frankie...I could not sense any love from them. I would definitely say that Jack Wu and Nancy Wu have good chemistry in these series.

The Why Factor
So at the end they die...what happens to Leila and Nancy? I guess they're widows?

Should you consider watching it?

Yes, you should. This series speaks about family bond and is very light-hearted. It will make your family laugh and cry with them and all the characters are very acceptable. If you're wondering when this series is good for watching...watch it during your break with a family get-together. It's definitely worth it!
