This is one of the most classic shows of all time, and Chow Yun Fatt's famous show when he was still doing television. I watched this only many years after it came out, and I can finally understand the hype about the show. Ray Lui as Ding Li did a good job, although he was overshadowed by Chow Yun Fatt's Xu Wenqiang. Incidentally, Ray Lui looks the same here as in Born Rich, almost thirty years later. Wonder what he did...

Fans of TVB must have heard of The Bund. This series represents TVB's golden era (the 80's and early 90's) and is arguably the most famous television production in TVB history.
