Storyline:
The series starts off with a murder scene. Roger ("Morning Sir") is a member of the CID and is in charge of solving the case. Flora and Roger meet because she is a witness. Flora is a handicapped detective writer, which leads her to bicker with Roger. Roger believes in evidence whereas Flora believes in her intuition. Because of their differences, they often disagree and get on each other's nerves. But throughout the series, they learn to communicate with each other, they learn to help each other, and they learn to love each other.

Aside from the love story comes the main plot, which is rather similar to the American production, Frequency. It deals with Roger having a cellular that connects him to his dead father from 20 years ago. At the beginning of the series, Roger has the notion that his father committed adultery and therefore has not forgiven him even though his father has been dead for 20 years. Even though he is mad at his father, there is a part of him that doesn't believe his father would do such a thing to him and his mother. With the cellular, Roger learns the truth of what happened to his father. They also take advantage of time travel and use that to solve cases.

During the second half of the series, Roger and Flora finally get together. But that doesn't last long because Flora thinks she is not up to par with Roger. Since she cannot walk, she feels she will only be a burden for him. When she breaks up with him, Roger is hurt and wants her back. Therefore, he tricks his father into changing Flora's fate by having him stop the car that would hit Flora when she was a child.
That changes everything. The present isn't the same anymore. Flora isn't the same anymore. Even Roger isn't the same anymore...

Ratings:
Roger Kwok- He did a great job. I personally think this is one of his best series, aside from Life Made Simple. Roger's character has never dated anyone before and Roger clearly made that obvious. Someone who watches will understand why he is perfect to play "Ah Wong" in Life Made Simple. He really does clueless and a bit retarded sometimes (I still love him though). But when he falls for Flora, you can tell he really cares for her. You can feel his confusion when he realizes that the present has been altered. You can feel his frustration when no one believes him that he changed reality. You can feel his sadness when he finds out Flora lied to him and when his father bids him farewell. You can just connect with Roger in this series. I think he's also a very good-looking guy for someone's who's 43. I would think he's in his early thirties if I just started watching him. His height probably has something to do with it.

Flora Chan-
First off, I think her hairstylist did a horrible job. At least for Go San. It looks a lot better on Nicole. Flora has always played the professional roles. It's a nice change to see her play someone who is handicapped and so care-free. I think she looks really cute when she tries to cheer Roger up. Flora is also good with her emotional scenes. Seeing her struggle with her wheelchair towards the end (when she has get up stone-steps) was a tear-jerker. Flora and Roger don't really look that great together but because of their acting, I didn't really care. Their acting made the viewers see that their characters truly loved each other and are meant to be together.

Patrick Tang-
Patrick did an okay job in this series. I think he's best in the series Into Thin Air. Patrick didn't have that many memorable lines in this series.

Cherie Kong-
She did an okay job in this series too. I liked her character in the beginning because she was understanding and when Roger told her that he doesn't have any feelings for her, she didn't go crazy about it and she didn't hold any grudges against Flora when she found out Flora has feelings for Roger. But that's only Cherie's character. At least she did a good job portraying her character. Also, Cherie's transition from being laid-back personality(before reality was changed) to being crazy-jealous (after)was pretty good.

Shek Sau-
I hardly see him get casted as any good-hearted character. He always plays the villain. This is a great change for him because he was really likeable in this series. He should get one of the good guy roles more often!

Hui Siu Hung-
He is quite a veteran. I've seen him in so many series. He is always the humorous one and once again, he has not failed TVB. He is very touching throughout the series, especially at the end when he finds out his fate. Two thumbs up!

Kiki Sheung-
Lovely job. The crying scenes can be better though. One thing that made me dislike the second half of the series is because since reality has been changed, Kiki didn't learn the truth about her husband, therefore, never forgave him. I felt so bad for Hui Siu. I also wanted to scream to Kiki that she has mistaken her husband.

Conclusion:
This is a really great series! I loved it and couldn't stop watching it. It really captures your attention from the very beginning. One of the two problems I had with it is the amount of time Flora and Roger spent together as an official couple. I wish I could see them be together for at least half an episode more before Roger goes changing reality. I also wanted to see Roger kiss Flora at least once. The second problem is the reality-change itself. At first I thought it would turn into something like the American production of The Butterfly Effect. I thought Roger would try to change reality again and screw things up even worse so I didn't really care that the second reality was a mess. Then I was disappointed that it stayed like that! I didn't like the mystery at the end of the series. It really dragged on and I didn't like the ending too much either. I didn't want Flora to have to be in jail. I want her to be the detective writer that she was. The moral of the series is that one should not try to change fate. Everything is linked and people should just accept and wait for whatever to happen, to happen. But there was one thing that doesn't make sense as does a lot of things in time-travel. If Hiu Siu was MEANT to go the brothel to save Go San... that means ever since Roger was a kid, his father has been communicating with his future self. If that is true, then Roger of the Future would've told his dad that he would die, as did Roger when he actually grew up and happened to save him. How did Hiu Siu from 20 years ago still die?
