You're Hired is a Chinese-language Hong Kong television series of 20 episodes, broadcast in 2009, and set in the business world. The main character is the entrepreneur and consultant Mak Tai Song (Dayo Wong), who has stopped doing business in his old ruthless way, to respect the suicide of his former mentor, Ho Man Tin (Cheung Kwok Keung). He is urged to return to work when he discovers that his mentor's wife, She Mo Lin (Theresa Lee), has significant debts. Meanwhile he also has his own debts to deal with and is pursued by a cute, but focused, debt collector Lam Miu Miu (Charmaine Sheh). They begin as adversaries and gradually develop playful romantic feelings. Then Song is suddenly confronted with more problems when he accidentally meets his long-lost stepbrother On Cho Lin (Michael Tse), which stirs up less-than-pleasant family memories.

I wanted to review this series since it's fresh in my mind. At first I was reluctant to watch this series because I felt that Charmaine Sheh and Dayo Wong wouldn't match as a couple. However, I was wrong! This is a show that made me laugh and smile. This show was clever and detailed, although not without flaws. 3 Random Comments: The beginning of the series and the first 10 episodes were the stronger parts of the show. From the second half... read more

Hilarious from start to finish. Great chemistry between Charmaine and Dayo!
An under-rated series. Everyone's done an excellent job here. It's fresh to see Charmaine paired with Dayo. She has all these cheeky expressions that they are hilarious. They seemed to have so much fun and it shows. Even Mandy improved as Charmaine's materialistic sister-in-law.
Though not totally realistic, I've learnt a lot of marketing & business strategies through this series.

Another great series by Dayo. The cases did great without the use of over the top acting. The chemsitry was good, especially the main character. it's charmaine most funny and intersting role.
