Starring: Dicky Cheung as Wai Siu Bo Monica Chan as Long Yi Patrick Tam as Hong Hei Annie Wu as Sheung Yi Ruby Lin as King Lin Princess Opinions In the beginning I was annoyed by Dicky's voice. He kept repeating the same things over and over again. The plot in the beginning was also boring, especially the part where Hoi Tai Fu was insane. I didn't think it was really funny at all. But later, in the middle, it started...

Unlike other "Duke of Mount Deer" adaptations, Wong Jing writes Duke of Mount Deer with heavy intent. Dicky Cheung stars as XiaoBao, from low status in society in the first few episodes to a duke. I personally agree with all the good comments from other people's reviews. For the hideous comments, I can explain it. The clothing of XiaoBao wearing hay expresses the status in the society of himself. Even when he gets aristocratic, he wears hay showing the audience that...

There is something that just seems right when satirical director/producer Wong Jing takes on the ultimate satire: "Duke of Mount Deer" (Lu Din Ji). "Duke of Mount Deer 2000" is Wong Jing's second effort to adapt this classical story by Jin Yong. So why did Wong Jing decide that he would remake this ancient series? Was he trying to outdo...

Actually I really enjoy watching this series. But at the same time I totally agree with everything you've said. And yes ruby lin was the only reason that made keep me watching until the end when they killed her off. That was really sad when she died. It made me cried soo much. ='[

i completely agree with you that the only reason that keep me from watching this series was Ruby's acting and her natural beauty.

No remake will ever touch the masterpiece of the 84 version which launched the career of two of the best actors of our time.
