Mars, the God of War - After the incredible "Meteor Garden" (a must-watch for its beautiful stylistic direction, outrageous sense of humor, and pretty decent ensemble acting), the other Taiwanese shows that I watched generally proved disappointing, until MARS came along! The story revolves around the love and tribulations of Chen Ling and his girlfriend, Han Qiluo. This is a very good series. The plot and pace are good and the many secrets that emerged as you watched the show kept me at the edge of my seat. The acting by the 2 main leads was also very intense. this drama is incredible...great script, great acting, great concept, great director, touching and creepy (lolz)...really different from other romantic dramas...all i can say is that it is so beautiful..you will learn so much...and very mature...really wowed me...ITZ A QUALITY DRAMA, HAS A WORLD OF ITS OWN...NATURALLY IMPRESSIVE...HAI, REALLY REALLY BEAUTIFUL...NOT A SINGLE SCENE BORED ME, HONESTLY...
Really really good series. I really enjoyed watching this one. Very touching. You can really feel the love the characters feel for each other.
Ok, so it wasn't very funny, and it could be depressing and scary, but that's because it's not a romantic comedy, it's a romance/action/suspense drama. It was brilliant though - the story was excellent, and not predictable, unike most dramas. The acting was also 100% believable. It's a unique drama which is definitely worth watching. Give it a go!
