Jiang Hu Fansub Recruitment

Group description:
Jiang Hu is a fansub that specializes in wuxia and period dramas. Our mission is to provide people with good English subtitles for these dramas and to make wuxia genre more popular. We noticed a general lack of English subtitles in this genre. We also feel that this genre is disproportionately underrepresented in general drama forums. We hope that with our efforts, we can make this genre better known in public.

I was watching three kingdoms episode 1 and I notice that sometime the subtitle blend in with the color of the video and it makes it hard to read. Why didn't you guys just make it like the chinese subtitle and leave it down in the black spot below the video? like in this picture below?

You know, that will break the aspect ratio of the video. While videos with broken aspect ratio can be played in PC just fine, they will choke on Playstation or other hardware-based media players. So, we decided to do this.

I'd be willing to help translate State of Divinity 1996 when the time comes along
