Ms Outlook question
How can I transfer a portion of emails from one profile of MS Outlook to another?
A new user is using the PC now and she just download her emails to the MS Outlook after she set up her account. But, the Outlook also has emails of the old user. So, I created a new profile for her, but, the downloaded emails are stuck in the old Profile.

You need to create a new *.pst file. Go to "File>New>Outlook Data File". It should be self explanatory thereafter.

shortsight, I don't want to move everything to the new profile (isn't a new profile a new .pst file already?). I want to move a portion of the emails there (e.g. emails from Sept to Oct).
So, creating a new .pst file won't do.

Sounds strange to me that you have a new pst but downloaded mails are stuck in old profile. I normally create new folders to categorize the mails. Would also create some rules to automate where certain mails should be moved to which folders.

Ok, I'll explain more clearly what happen.
1) New user use the PC
2) New user open MS Outlook and deleted old user's email account.
3) New user setup her own email account with the remember password on.
4) Emails were automatically downloaded to the Inbox after email account was setup.
5) The inbox has existing emails of the old user.
6) I created a new profile for her (new profile = new .pst file) in order for her future mails not to be mix up with the old user's mail.
7) I want to move the portion of the emails of the new user that have been downloaded to the new profile.
MS Outlook allow you to create multiple .pst and you can choose which pst to access when you load MS Outlook.
So, now, the MS Outlook has Profile 1 (Outlook.pst) and Profile 2 (Outlook1.pst)
I want to move a portion of the email from Profile 1 (Outlook.pst) to Profile 2 (Outlook1.pst)
If in Outlook Express, I can just save each emails as .eml and move it to the new Identity.
I hope you understand what I want to do now.
