I dont' think you want malwares on your computer.
But I can recommend a good freeware for you.
Try Google Picasa http://www.google.com/picasa/
IrfanView has some basic editing features. Their batch resizing/conversion tool comes in handy. The program takes less than 1 second to load, compared to 30 seconds for Adobe's apps. It's simple and clean.

Well, my old Adobe PhotoElements could resize photos easily without fuss. The newest one transforms a camera photo into layers and all that before you can resize it. :PQuote:

I agree, even if the editing functions are quite limited, if you are not into serious photography editing, this will do. Or in other words, if you don't own a super expensive digital SLR camera, most likely you won't need more than this. Cheers:)Quote:
