Atlantic lobster is delicious; but the tail of a Spiny Lobster served with garlic butter, a tender juicy steak and a baked potato gets my vote as a heavenly meal.;)
I love lobster! We have a lobster, shrimp, snow crab, etc, basically seafood fest every month with friends.

Cantonese style lobster with garlic and scallions is one of my fav
but at times, a nice baked lobster with butter and lime is a classic
I wonder how many people in this thread are referring to the Atlantic Lobster [the one with the big meat filled claws] or the various sub-species of the Spiny Lobster [most of the meat is in the tail] which are found in many parts of the world including Asia.?

The low end Chinese restaurants usually make bad lobster. Use too much oil. The meat texture becomes tough. I hate the flour also.
But... lobsterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I suffered from the all-over itch one time from a fried shrimp meal in a very small town Chinese restaurant. A small crew of us guys were instrumenting a new gas compressor site and I was stuck there for 10 days. My only solution was to smear my body with Solarcaine [it's for sunburn] to numb my skin to the itch. I took two days to get over it. I found out later when I got back home that the itch was caused by a 'shrimp poo' allergic reaction!:D Right to this day I still break off the last bit of a shrimp's tail before I eat them....just in case.;)
