Translators page on Wuxiapedia

Hi to all translators,

Once again thanks very much for your excellent efforts in doing this for wuxia fans. Keep up the good work!

As you know, Wuxiapedia hosts all of the translations that can be found here and elsewhere. I'd like to have a page like this one: http://wuxiapedia.com/about/developers but for translators, because readers would all love to know a bit more about you. :-) So if you want to have an entry on that page, please email [email protected] and send us:

- Your forum nickname on Spcnet and the translations you've done - because we often use real names of translators on Wuxiapedia and don't record their forum nicknames
- The name/nickname/alias you want to appear on the site
- Your photo/avatar (optional)
- Whatever you want to tell readers about yourself
- Contact details: email, link to your blog etc. (optional)

FYI, this is what i had complied in the past

All translators who had contributed to the translations of wuxia literature are invited to upgrade your biography and to all new translators since the last compilation, welcome and pls share your info pls.

The old translators bio as below:
Tiger Wong is a male, computer programmer in west coast, San francisco.

Athena is a teacher.

Moinllieon is Minglei Huang, male, graduate student with hobbies including Sports/Music/Computer

Junny is a sports sub-editor

Ian Liew works at internet security company that specialise in perimeter scanning and plays Jin Yong online.

CC is a guy

Meh is Mark, Age: 21, a student who likes Bridge(yes, that game for senile old ladies, the Western equivalent of Mahjong), Translating wuxia stuffs(duh!), and help out my dad with some database stuff for his work.

FaQ is in toronto, just graduated, and is working

Bliss: 23, Male, NYC recent graduate of Columbia University, now an IT Developer. Majored in Computer Science and Philosophy.

Temujiin: Male, location New York and LA, work in financial sector

metwin1 is a female college student from Singapore, but is studying in Toronto right now. Her hobbies include reading, watching TV, practising card magic, juggling and reading wuxia fiction. Given her priorities, it's easy to se why she makes such slow translations.

Wubbles is a medical student in Ontario, Canada.

dgfds01 is a female, uni student in New Zealand.

IcyFox, 19, Conscripted soldier, future physicist.

IcyFox, I'm not forgetting anyone :), but I don't know everything about them, not enough to create that kind of entry on the Translators page anyway. Moreover, I don't want to post anyone's details without his/her permission so it's best if they can send me those directly via email. Do you want to start that, as you're a translator? :)
