Not sure where you are in the novel, and i also dont want to spoil you with name...i can say that he will end up with four wives at the end if i remember correctly. The TVB ending is not that accurate.
I would like to ask if the main character (XSL) will loose any battles under his command. In the TVB series, he looses a battle with the Zhao’s as one of his general did not send backup. He get beat up and travels with a circus.
Does any of the above even happen in the novel?
wow so he only has 4 wives at the end i guess a lot of his women die in this novel.. thats sad cause i'm getting pretty attached to some of his women
I have to agree with "King_Kong_1981". I think by Jean's book 3 translation, XSL already has 5 so call wifes and like 12 maids..
There will be a lot of blood spilled, I am thinking.
Thank you Bogeyman and ProtoM for the reply.
From reading the current translation by Jean, he is masterful in the art of war. And with the aid of history knowledge, I can't imagine why he would loose a battle. But, if it is like how TVB portray it..

Which is funny, from knowing how the enemy have to come through the city doors to win, with the modern knowledge, even I can think of ways to keeping it closed. ;)
why do alot of you refer to Xiang Shaolong as Han Shaolong?is this some kinda spoiler you know from reading the entire novel?????maybe he is the great conqueror?or even the fouding father of the Han dynasty!
His foster son is Xiang Yu. Xiang Shao Long could not concieve any children of his own.
fact from book.
Yea kidd i was mistaken :S
In the book, XSL have 2 spiritual sons, one found the Empire of Qin and the other destroy Qin.
