Synopsis

1937年日据山西之后，专门负责搜罗亚洲国家珍贵文物的日本特务组织—“东方史馆”秘密开展“文物、珍宝 ”的掠夺，并执行一项绝密任务：搜寻两尊制造于乾隆年间、价值连城的景泰蓝双龙。

刘家少爷刘伟，通过伪警署的警官洪子恒得知此事，并秘密将此事告诉双龙制作者后代的山西大户邢家。与此之后 ，邢家遭遇了一系列的死亡事件，先是邢老爷的突然离奇死亡，然后是管家自燃死亡事件，其后是邢小妹密室被杀 事件……，这些迷案再加之日本人对双龙下落的咄咄相逼，使邢家大少爷邢文远迅速成长起来。与此同时，秘密保 护邢家的共产党徐强接报，日本特工“三色堇”抵达太原，暗中协助上杉开展夺取双龙的计划。寻找并保护双龙、 查明三色堇藏身何处、探寻潜藏在身后的恐怖杀手，三件同样是刻不容缓的任务压在邢文远的肩头。

In 1937, a Japanese organization was on a secret mission to obtain "Jing Tai Shuang Long," a pair of valuable vases made during the Qing dynasty. When its mission became known to the Chinese government, the descendant of Shuang Long's maker began to die one by one under mysterious circumstances. Xing Wen Yuan, the surviving member of the family, must protect the artifact, track down the Japanese agents and find the mysterious killer before all is lost.

kind of like a mystery story right? interesting, costumes of this series is too plain, nothing stand out.

Yuan Hong look a bit young for the role, but he looks good! Thanks for the trailer and BTS!

Pictures...Yuan Hong looks significantly younger than his female love interests. It looks really anti-Japanese. Yet he's going to take the male lead in Bu Bu Jing Xin (步步惊心), Tangren's BIG co-production project with NHK.:shrug:

who is female lead? Never seen before.

Xu Huan Huan is from Beijing Film Academy, graduated around same time as Vicki Zhao, Chen Kun, Huang Xiaoming. Yuan Zhi Bo is from Central Academy of Drama, graduated same time as Liu Ye, Hu Jing and Zhang Ziyi. Both are serious serious established type of actresses with several CCTV TV series and movies under their belt, but they are not star or idol types. They are around their mid-30s.

Actually both of them look like they can be Yuan Hong's...errr...aunties? :D

Oh dear, looks like Yuan Hong's recent dramas keep ending up in court. First the BIG Karen/Yu Zheng fight which snowballed into a media circus and now this.

why blame him, he not the one who cause the problem, just a jinx instead
