Synopsis

The story takes place in Seoul, 2011. Lee Yoon Sung is a talented MIT-graduate who works on the international communications team in the Blue House. He plans revenge on five politicians who caused his father's death with his surrogate father Lee Jin Pyo and eventually becomes a "City Hunter."

Not a Lee Min Ho fan but I'm starting to watch this drama. What episode are you at? I'm on 2.
I liked Jackie Chan's City Hunter. :)

I'm actually not a Lee Minho fan, since I'm not exactly a fan of Boys Over Flowers either. I heard that this drama was pretty good so I decided to give it a shot despite the main leads being relatively younger stars. I'm glad I did because it's a pretty darn good series with a good balance between action and romance. I've watched up to the latest episode and biting my nails at what crazy Daddy will do next.

I'm currently on ep 14 is pretty good, can't stand the father though, he is nut. Minho character has a weird way of loving a girl in the begin of series.

^ Haha, it's true, and yet somehow I find it really sweet that he's liked her since seeing her picture in Thailand. Superficial maybe? But I guess it's after getting to know the real person that he starts loving her. I really like their love story.

I'm just pretty disappointed at the ending. Out of all the people to kill off, they had to pick him. I cried buckets.

surprise to find out whose Yoon sung biological father is?

I posted here a month ago and since then I haven't progress pass episode 2. From the sound of it, it's a good drama so I should start catching up. Will share my thoughts as I go.

the ending is quite surprising for korean series

One of the best Korean series in awhile - it made me a fan of Lee Min Ho. Surprisingly, Koreans can do action dramas and not just your average romcom.

Yeah, it's up there with Resurrection, MaWang, and Time in Dog and Wolves (?).

I'm planning to write a review on City Hunter, but I'm thinking of writing on the revenge aspect of the series rather than a series review.

That's be an interesting review. I find Lee Jin Pyo to be a fascinating character and his thirst for revenge is a big part of that. Looking forward to your review!
