It's was pretty meh compared to the first movie. And the reason is this... Nothing has changed. Other than protagonist teacher being killed off and protagonist growing white hair. My god, they could have saved me 2 hrs of my time by doing all of that in the first two minutes of part 3! Fighters were cooler than the first movie but overall I would rate this lower than the first.

Fann Bingbing looked weird in this part 2. I think they used AI to alter her appearance basically editing her resemblance out of the movie coz of the scandal she's involved in.

I don't understand the ending and also I don't understand what exactly the boy from part one with the smoky black cloak was, was he a god? a clone?

Seen it not long ago. Not regretting it. Certainly need to understand what's happening in the first to grasp the progression of the second. It's a continuation that fills holes. Also, it doesn't do a normal film sequence of the beginning, middle, and end. There is no beginning, you get injected into stuff right from the get-go. There is an end, but it's as open-ended as the first. 1 film per book would mean something like 4 films. Hoping they manage it and maintain quality. I'm stoked to see what armageddon will occur in the 3rd film.
