CALLING the EXPERTS! Athena, Yushi, etc

I need your expertise regarding the genuine text of DGSD.

Now, in every online version of DGSD that I've seen, chapter 42 goes like this:

　　黑衣僧道：“正是，我抢了你的孩儿来，放在少林寺的菜园之中，让少林僧将他抚养长大，授他一身武艺。只 因为我自己的亲生孩儿，也是被人抢了去，抚养长大，由少林僧授了他一身武艺。你想不想瞧瞧我的真面目？”不 等叶二娘意示可否，黑衣僧伸手便拉去了自己的面幕。
　　群雄惊喜交集，抢步上前，拜伏在地，颤声叫道：“你……你是我爹爹……”

The underlined portion seems dubious. It literally says that qunxiong (a group of people) called Xiao Yuanshan "dad". Is the original text like this?

The online versions of TLBB I've seen are quite extensively corrupt. As amusing as the idea of Xiao Yuanshan turning out to have fathered half of jianghu is, the print version (2nd edition) has the text as:

群雄“啊”的一声惊呼，只见他方面大耳，虬髯丛生，相貌十分威武，约莫六十岁左右年纪。
萧峰惊喜交集，抢步上前，拜伏在地，颤声叫道：“你…你是我爹爹…”
