I. Personal Attacks

a) Flaming and Insulting - Posts that make personal attacks on another user will not be tolerated. This includes using profanity and other insults. When debating, attack a point and not a person.

b) Threads and polls about other members of the forum - Please don't post new threads or polls about specific members of the forum. Polls should be a fun thing to get feedback from other members but if we find that it is used as medium to insult or hurt other members or lead to ill-intent discussions, we will close/delete such polls immediately.

c) Personal Comments - If you have a personal comments for a particular member, send him/her a PM. The discussions at the forum should be such that any member, including newbies, can have take part in.

II. Offensive Language

a) Censor bypassing - Don't avoid the censor by making small changes to profanity. For example, if cat was banned you can't say c@t and etc. to bypass the censor. Offensive language is censored because minors also frequent these forums.

b) Racism- Racist terms or hate speech targeted at a country is not acceptable.

c) Obscenities - Please refrain from profanity and/or offensive language in discussions.

III. Violations relating to sex.

a) Nude/adult-content pictures, attachments, or links - Since the forum is frequented by a lot of minors too, we want to keep this forum clean for them. There are plenty of forums out there on the Internet for adult content, so please kindly proceed to them and post at your leisure.

b) Sex related topics - SPCNET isn't the place to discuss such topics.

IV. Pirating

a) Advertisements/Spamming - Advertising of pirated or copied VCDs, DVDs, and other related medias are not allowed. We regard that as spamming and a member will only get 3 warnings before the account is banned. Links on signatures or profiles of that nature are also not allowed.

b) File Sharing links - We don't allow links to share files on things you do not have copyright over. You are considered to have copyright if it an original work created or owned by you. This includes, but is not excluded to, music (i.e. .mp3, .wma) and movie files (i.e. bit torrent, .avi, .mpeg). Such posts and threads may be deleted without warning.

V. Spam

a) Off-topic - Try to keep your topics and posts On-topic. This helps keep the forum more organized and flowing more fluidly. Also, remarks about other members for going off-topic in that same topic is also going off topic.

b)Multiple similar topics- Please check the pages for topics and make sure the topic you are creating isn't similar to another existing topic.

VI. Enforcement and Appeals

If your post has violated one of the rules, you will be sent a warning. If you continue to the violate rules, you may be banned.

If your post or thread is missing, please check the announcement forum and see if the thread was moved, merged, or deleted. If you feel that a post of yours has been unfairly deleted please follow these steps:
1) PM the moderator of the forum and ask why they deleted the post
2) if the answer isn't sufficient to you, you can PM the administrators.

If you see a post that breaks a rule, please use the link at the bottom of the post ("Report this post to a moderator") to report the message to a moderator. Action may be taken if the moderator feels that the post constitutes a violation.
