Which one will win in a duel, the golden wheel monk or freat wheel monk Kao Mor Zhi?
that depends on how you rate the ROCH greats in the DGSD era - JMZ was just below the true greats in DGSD but above the likes of MRF and the Celestial Temple monks - I personally like to think that the ROCH Greats were below JMZ but above MRF - somewhere in between
JMZ would definitely beat GLFW I think - although I have no evidence to support this, its just a feeling;)
once again I have to ask out of curiosity, why do you think this? :)Quote:

I think its this "feeling" you get when watching adaptions of DGDS, KMZ is obviously above MRF, but somehow dosent seem to be near the XF/XYS and MRB level.Quote:

hehe, I think theres a misunderstanding, I dont mean to say that the DGSD elite are only slightly above JMZ in ability, what I meant to say was that I think JMZ is the very next level below the elite in terms of ranking - inappropriate use of 'just' is all:DQuote:

I understand, but why do you think JMZ is below Xiao Feng, etc? And don't tell me it's from watching the adaptions
on the contrary, I've only watched the 82 tvb adaptation and what I gathered from that was the thought that JMZ was comparable to XF,XYS and MYB - its from reading the various arguments and discussions on boards like SPc that I get the impression that JMZ is below them
The only way to compare is when KMJ gave XYS an equally powerful counter. So internal energy wise, probably around the same, but we don't know who's abilty is higher in actual combat. But I would think XYS.
I pick KMJ above GLFW, because GLFW got into difficulty in winner battles several times from weaker fighters mostly due to advance techniques. I just can't imagine KMJ getting almost beat up by YG with just one month of iron sword training or having problem with XLN. KMJ's internal energy is around the level of XF in my opinion, and he got more advance techniques, unlike GLFW.
isn't this weird, 10-0 vote so far, everyone agrees that JMZ is stronger than GWM, while GWM is roughly equal to Guo Jing (need 1000 moves to figure the winner), and JMZ is at best, equal to Xiao Feng
why is there still disagreement between Xiao Feng and Guo Jing?
Because it depends on what is being ranked. If we rank based on power or strength, then Xiao Feng will win. But if we rank based on martial arts, then I will place Guo Jing first.Quote:

Often we get those 2 mixed together and argue about different things without realizing it.
I still vote for XF in both martial arts skill and inner strength though. XF got the instincts.:)
I think Guo Jing has the better martial arts, but Xiao Feng is the better martial artist as well as fighter.
Xiao Feng is merely a user of martial arts. He is able to learn and use them to the fullest extent, but that cannot be considered a great martial artist. A great martial artist is like a scientist: he will explore and innovate new science (martial arts); while a great fighter is like a technologist: he will apply the technology (martial arts) created by the scientist (martial artist).
Now, the disputes :)
Well, the new version is supposed to have him and Xu Zhu refine 28 Dragon Palms to 18.
Opps, never mind, I was talking about martial arts as in fighting skills. I wasn't talking about techniques and styles.
Great Wheel vs Gold wheel,
who would lose?
Who's Great Wheel?
Jiumozhi.
Jiumozhi would win.
JLFW at the end of ROCH was mege powerful even through he lost to yang guo.
JMZ at the end of DGSD had reached a level above MRB and XYS but went insane from it till duan yu absorb his power away.
JMZ was possibly more powerful but JLFW is cunning enough to beat an insane JMZ.
