I like Roy twenty thousand times more than Ming Dao... So I'm actually going to watch it...

I was just looking into this drama yesterday...Roy Qiu looks soo good here..much better than his previous series

I watched My Daughter and I liked it but it's not the type of drama I could rewatch and still enjoy. This series just seems really similar to My Daughter and the trailer doesn't really interest me. But I might watch it if I have lots of free time on my hands in the future, just for GeMei and maybe a bit of LiMei if it's in there.

Roy certainly look greats and dashing in this drama, his short hair does really look very good than any of his hair styles in the past IMO.
But I feel Yan Ge's hairstyle do suit him in a certain way too, but short hair make him look so dashing.

I think My Daughter is good, and I really like GeMei path in My Daughter.
Waking Love Up does not really similar to My Daughter IMO, and I think you can really watch to see how Roy and Tang Yan portray out an different type of love from GeMei in this drama. And their QiBei romance (Roy - Tian Qi, Tang Yan - Xiao Bei) is equally or even more memorable and likeable than GeMei romance.
LiMei (HengMei) has pretty cute friendship in here too, fyi. (:

I saw the first 20 minutes of ep. 1 and got swept away by the new look of Roy Qiu. The original with Ming Dao was very funny, but I'm not a big fan of him though...He was tolerable in Frog Prince...I'll probably watch this in between my break from Sealed with a Kiss...

Haha yeah... Something about Ming Dao just doesn't sit right with me...

I think this series gets progressively better after episode 7, after Roy's character loses his memory... Tang Yan's character was annoying me for awhile but she's winning me over! Episode 12 is so cute...

I know the story line already since the Frog Prince was a semi remake of the Korean drama, 'Save the Last Dance for Me' and this is a semi remake of the Frog Prince... Hahaha but Roy makes it all worth it... *swoon*

Seriously right? Don't worry about Tang Yan.... she got on my nerves too... for approximatley 7 episodes hahaha.... once Roy loses his memory, the story just gets a lot better and she is less annoying.... and she'll grow on you....

I just saw that bit of BBJX news. Roy is SUPER GOOD LOOKING! I'm usually pretty cool-headed when it comes to fangirling male celebrities...but somehow the new look Roy is sporting now is making him look really HANDSOME. Didn't think he look good at all before with his long hair....I only found out about Roy from a fellow FengMi's fangirl on weibo. She highly recommended that I check out Roy and watch Waking Love Up and so I did. I'm sure you know, he definitely didn't disappoint...hahaha...Even though I love Hawick's performance in Sealed with a Kiss, I've been thinking how Roy would have acted in the role of Mo ShaoQian. You're probably already aware of the fact I'm BIG BIG fan of the character. It's quite hilarious... because the 4 main characters in Waking Love Up are in three series together because they are so popular:

1st series: My Daughter (it was shown as two separate series in China for 80 episodes total).... Roy (Chiu Ze) is with Tang Yan there and that's what spurned the "ZeYan" coupling madness...

Then, due to popular demand, they are back with the series from which you posted your pics....

2nd series: Unbeatable... Roy is with the 2nd lead girl from Waking Love Up....

I'm on the fourth episode and pretty much every character is getting on my nerves to some degree except for Jones Xu and Qi Wei, which is strange because I reaaally liked Tang Yan and Roy in My Daughter.

I reaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyyyyy hope they don't replace any of the princes in a BBJX sequel, though. Each one of them is so embedded in my mind and I just can't imagine Roy in any of their places.

Get past episode 7 then it's better and then after episode 12 even better... then I think it's a smoother ride for Roy and and Tang Yan.... they are a bit annoying in the beginning episodes (one being too whiny and the other being a total jack*ss)... but treat it as eye candy in the beginning... :) this series is very different first half and second half.... so hang on... :)

I just finished it too! Seriously, this drama gets so much better as it goes and I like all four of the leads by the end... People need to give it a chance... It's a bit annoying at first but seriously after Roy loses his memory, the drama takes off and never looks back... And it's so intense towards the end too!!

Going through withdrawal ugh!! This drama was supposed to help me get through my BbJX withdrawal and now I have withdrawal for this instead!! I think I need to go check out My Daughter, Unbeatable, and Office Girls (once it finishes airing) but I have a feeling I'll like this one the best because I'm a sucker for Roy's character here.... :P

Roy’s acting in Office Girls will surprise you, he is very funny and cute but i don´t like the main actress. I only watched Unbeatable because of my love for Fantastic Four from My Daughter: Tang Yan, Roy Chiu, Qi Wei, and Jones Xu.

Roy and Tang Yan are seriously SO CUTE together,I think they would actually date in real life and hope they have another project together soon.

This remake is really better than the original. The leads are so cute together and have great chemistry. I’m kinda missing this drama already.
Roy´acting surprised me, he play two characters very well: his cool handsome and his adorable after loosing memory. Why is Roy so hot? He is making me go crazy now. I watched all his 2011 drama: Unbeatable, My Daughter and Office Girls( still airing) but i like Xiao Yu the most- his smile and eye candy when he looks at Xiao Bei

And thanks for being so actively holding up this thread. I totally feel Waking Love Up should get more hot than it is in here, cos' it's really a very good drama. And it has acheived really good ratings/high viewership in china when it aired. As well as authorized video websites that are putting up this drama, have really very good results. (:

Roy looks SUPER HOT with this new haircut, I hated his long hair in The Xiao Girls and Jia Qi Ru Mung. Roy is awesome here!! Tiffany Tang is ok in my mind, I find her so likeable! She has awesome chemistry with Roy, it's probably because it's the third time Roy and Tiffany acted together. I liked this couple in The Xia Girls as well.

I gave this a shot since I really liked the original. Overall, I do like the casting in this remake better than the original. Plotwise, they're about the same...there were things off about both plots.

What really did it for me was Roooyyyyy! I've always liked Tang Yan, but when she's paired together with him, they're awesome! I think he needs to have his own thread.

I did check out My Daughter after starting this series, and let's just say I prefer Roy's hair in this drama more than in My Daughter. And how come in both dramas Tang Yan has to wear the tackiest outfits? How dare they give such shabby styles to one of the most gorgeous faces around? I really adored Qi Wei a lot in this drama, but man did I want to slap her in MD. Such an evil annoying character.
