It would also be cool if they remake the my date with a vampire and Vampire Expert series from ATV hong kong.
No .... no more Xi You Ji remakes for a while, please. Unless I magically became Liu Xiao Ling Tong's disciple and stars in it. ;b But seriously, the original CCTV XI You Ji was made over 6 years and stars a Monkey King who grew up with more monkeys than siblings. It's hard to beat the acting and effort put into such a series.Quote:

look at dicky cheung tvb monkey king. he did a well job making a commical monkey king.
we only seen so many trailer of the new xi you ji 2011 but judging from what I'm watching, I think Wu Yue will be a successfull monkey king. look like he is putting alot of effort into the series.
the 2009 version monkey king is just kinda weird.
